A number of motorcycle and accessory manufacturers put out April fools jokes this year. If you’ve seen one we haven’t mentioned post it below.

BMW offered a 3d parts printer as a new accessory option

KTM changed their signature colour from Red to Pink

HJC offered a new style of helmet

Triumph made reference to Steve McQueen’s famous fence jump in the movie The Great Escape for their new UK Adventure Riding school.

Wiseco offered a 4 stroke to 2 stroke motorcycle engine conversion kit.

UK Honda dealer Doble Motorcycles got into the act with a special Africa Twin Adventure Sport edition by legendary band Toto.

We are very proud to announce that the legendary band Toto have team up with us in sponsoring the release of a new Toto Limited Edition CRF1000 Adventure Sports.

All four members of the band ride motorcycles and said in a recent exclusive interview with Doble Motorcycles; “We love the Honda brand and are really honoured to be involved in the new 30th Anniversary ToTo Limited Edition of an iconic bike.”

Upshift Online announced a new KTM 1090 E

KTM to announce 2019 1090 Adventure E.

Expanding on the Freeride E-XC, KTM is adding an all-electric adventure bike to the lineup. Full specs have not been announced, but we know that a 8.7kWh battery has been in development as well as optional auxiliary, pannier mounted batteries that add 3.2kWh each. Weight and range numbers are not available yet. Stay tuned for more details as they come in.
