HONDA’S soon-to-be-launched Africa Twin might be its biggest adventure bike news at the moment but the firm has just released pictures of another new machine at the other end of the adventure spectrum, in the form of the CRF250 Rally.
At the moment, it’s officially a concept bike, set to be a star at this weekend’s Osaka motorcycle show in Japan, but given that it’s effectively just a re-bodied version of the existing CRF250L road-going enduro, it’s not a big leap to imagine a production version of the new model.
The styling is a fairly direct copy of the firm’s latest CRF450 Rally works racer, as used in the Dakar, but mechanically it’s nowhere near as exotic. For those serious about long-distance off-road riding, a production version of this might make a lot of sense.
