The New Zealand Road Assessment Programme, KiwiRAP, analyses the road safety of the state highway network.

It is a partnership between the NZ Automobile Association, NZ Transport Agency, Ministry of Transport, ACC and NZ Police.

I found that placing a temporary ‘ slippery when wet’ sign is not safe practice, maybe if they known it’s dangerous, repair the surface, especially on chipped roads, also leaving loose chip is like riding on marbles, sweep the loose chip up, this would go a long way to improving safety for motorcyclists, trucks get fine for spilling debris on the road, so why not the reading contactor’s…..
