An amendment to motorised recreation vehicle access tracks in Akatarawa Forest Park is proposed with changes to Map 20 of the Parks Network Plan. Come along to a drop in session and discuss the changes with Greater Wellington Regional Council officers. The proposed revised map shows existing trails not previously mapped, but regularly used by motorised recreation vehicles. The process to make the proposed track changes has involved extensive liaison with the Akatarawa Recreation Access Committee (ARAC), a group who represent 4WD and motorcycle interests in the Akatarawa Forest.
